It seems that the assisted suicide article has led to an anonymous tip off to the media claiming all manner of things about what's in it. Let's make it clear then that I've written many times on medical ethics in the past.
I'm suggesting that those who assist people to commit suicide in certain narrowly defined circumstances shouldn't be prosecuted.
I'm uncomfortable with the extension of those circumstances on the case of Sir Edward Downes.
Let's have a mature debate on a difficult subject rather that engage in political point scoring.
